Destiny 2: Renegades is set to introduce a plethora of new Legendary armor set bonuses that will revolutionize the endgame experience for players. Bungie is placing a heavy emphasis on these new changes, as equipping a full 4-piece set can significantly impact gameplay. Players will have to engage in specific activities within the game to obtain each set, adding an exciting layer of exploration and mission completion to the game.
The upcoming Renegades expansion will bring a variety of new armor set bonuses that players can look forward to. Let’s take a closer look at some of the new bonuses that will be available:
1) Sage Protector
– Two pieces grant a buff called Combat Meditation, allowing sword hits to return grenade and class energy. Bonus energy is granted if Blade Focus is active.
– Four pieces grant Blade Focus, where briefly guarding with a Sword readies the ‘Blade Focus’ buff. Hitting a target with your sword while Blade Focus is active increases Sword damage and lunge distance.
2) Shrewd Survivor
– Two pieces grant Reflex Action, enabling increased handling and accuracy when swapping to a Heat weapon, Submachine Gun, or Hand Cannon. This effect can be extended by dealing damage with that weapon.
– Four pieces grant Hotshot, providing a bonus to weapon stats and increased stability, reload, and aim assist for Heat weapons, Submachine Guns, and Hand Cannons upon dealing final blows while Reflex Action is active.
3) Thriving Survivor
– Two pieces provide Opening Act, granting Heat weapons bonus stability and vent speed, and Primary ammo weapons bonus stability and reload speed upon final blows with grenades.
– Four pieces offer Room Clearing, providing bonuses to weapon and grenade stats, increased ammo generation, and ammo progress for Heat weapons and primary ammo weapons upon multiple final blows.
4) Ferropotent
– Two pieces grant Rapid Repair, offering flinch resistance and damage resistance when shields begin to regenerate.
– Four pieces grant Built From Scratch, providing additional ammo progress based on ammo type for combatant final blows with weapons when reserves are low.
5) Swordmaster
– Two pieces grant Fanfare, increasing reload speed for the bottom half of the equipped weapon’s magazine.
– Four pieces grant Suros Harmony, granting a bonus to handling and reduced flinch upon reloading a weapon. Weapons with the SUROS Synergy Origin Trait receive increased range.
6) New Demotic
– Two pieces grant Paroli, offering a bonus to flinch resistance for Primary ammo weapons after sliding.
– Four pieces grant Martingale, increasing handling and aim-down-sights speeds for weapons when an ally is defeated or revived.
