During President Trump’s address to the Knesset, chaos erupted when Ofer Cassif, a far-left member of the Israeli parliament representing the Hadash party, interrupted the speech with loud protests.
The disruption occurred as Trump praised his special envoy, Steve Eitkoff, for his efforts toward achieving “peace in the Middle East.” Cassif’s shouting caused a moment of confusion within the parliamentary chamber.
Although what Cassif shouted was not immediately known, he was swiftly ousted from the chamber amidst applause from many members of the Knesset. Security personnel also removed another member who appeared to be involved in the disruption.
