Whistleblower Alleges CIA and ODNI Covered Up CCP Election Interference
A former National Intelligence Officer for Cyber who served under both Presidents Trump and Biden has made serious accusations: the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) allegedly suppressed evidence of interference by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the 2020 presidential election. This individual claims he was dismissed for refusing to comply with this purported cover-up.
The whistleblower’s explosive assertion was ignited by a tweet from General Mike Flynn, who expressed frustration over the apparent lack of transparency regarding foreign interference by the CCP during the 2020 election:
“So there was foreign interference by the CCP in the 2020 presidential election. Who was running the USIC at that time and why didn’t this get exposed back then? @CIADirector. Can we get four years of our lives back!?” Flynn lamented, tagging President Trump and former DNI Tulsi Gabbard.
Christopher Porter, the former intelligence officer, did not hold back in his response:
“Sir, I WAS in charge of election analysis and DID call it out. CIA and ODNI tried to cover up the evidence and when I wouldn’t go along with it, terminated me.”

According to Boston College, Porter served as the National Intelligence Officer for Cyber from 2019 until June 2022. In this capacity, he led the U.S. Intelligence Community’s analysis of foreign cyber threats and electoral risks, produced National Intelligence Estimates, and functioned as the primary cyber intelligence advisor to the Director of National Intelligence. His role required him to frequently brief senior officials, including the President, and to collaborate with various intelligence agencies, including the CIA, FBI, and NSA.
This controversy is gaining traction following a recent revelation from FBI Director Kash Patel, who confirmed that newly declassified documents expose alarming CCP involvement in a scheme to inundate the 2020 election with fraudulent mail-in ballots. These ballots were supposedly supported by phony voter registrations and fake Chinese-manufactured driver’s licenses.
Take a moment to absorb this: the Chinese Communist Party allegedly endeavored to tamper with a U.S. election, while the U.S. intelligence apparatus was reportedly aware of it and chose to remain silent.
Patel claims that these significant intelligence reports were disregarded by FBI leadership as early as August 2020. This is notable since, during that same month, then-FBI Director Chris Wray testified before Congress, asserting that there were “no known plots of foreign interference” leading up to the election.
Wray had the evidence—and he concealed it.
