Fox has recently announced the renewal of three of its popular adult animated series: “Universal Basic Guys,” “Grimsburg,” and “Krapopolis” for additional seasons.
“Krapopolis” has been renewed for Season 5, ahead of its Season 3 premiere. The show is set in mythical ancient Greece and follows the dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters as they try to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other. The series centers around Deliria, the goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices, portrayed by Hannah Waddingham. The show also stars Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy, and Duncan Trussell. Created by Dan Harmon, the series is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios and Bento Box Entertainment.
“Grimsburg” is returning for Season 3 and stars Jon Hamm as Marvin Flute, a detective on a journey to uncover the mysteries of his own past. The show follows Marvin as he navigates the town of Grimsburg, where everyone harbors secrets. The series also features Erinn Hayes, Rachel Dratch, Alan Tudyk, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Greg Chun. Produced by Bento Box Entertainment and owned by Fox Entertainment, the show was created by Catlan McClelland and Matthew Schlissel.
“Universal Basic Guys” follows the story of two brothers, Mark and Hank Hoagies, who receive a basic income after losing their jobs to automation. The series explores how they find purpose in a world where they are no longer needed. The show stars Adam Malamut, Talia Genevieve, Fred Armisen, and Ally Maki. Co-produced by Fox Entertainment through Bento Box Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, the series is created by Adam and Craig Malamut.
In addition to these renewals, Fox has also recently confirmed the return of “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” and “Bob’s Burgers” for four more seasons each. “American Dad” has also been officially renewed for four more seasons, showcasing the network’s commitment to their animated lineup.
