A recent incident in Georgia has shocked the community after a woman was arrested for child cruelty following the discovery of disturbing footage showing a toddler in her care hogtied with belts and yarn. This isn’t the first time the woman, identified as Brooke Morgan Bestpitch, 24, has been in trouble with the law regarding the child’s welfare.

According to reports from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Bestpitch was taken into custody on Friday on charges of child cruelty after videos and photos surfaced showing her using belts and yarn to tie up the young child. In addition to this cruel act, she was also seen pulling the child by the neck with a dog leash.

The investigation into Bestpitch began in December when authorities were made aware of abusive activities taking place in a Hall County home. This led to her initial arrest on February 6 for reckless conduct after it was discovered that she had allegedly given the child marijuana and allowed him to smoke it. She was released on a $1,300 bond the following day.

Further warrants were obtained to search Bestpitch’s cell phone and Snapchat account, where even more disturbing footage was found. One video showed her using the dog leash to yank the child around, causing distress and potential harm to the young boy.

The exact nature of Bestpitch’s relationship with the child has not been disclosed by authorities, nor is it clear if the child sustained any injuries as a result of her actions. However, she has been charged with first-degree child cruelty and was booked at Hall County Jail. She was later released on an $11,200 bond on Saturday.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of protecting vulnerable children from harm and abuse. It is crucial for communities to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that may put children at risk. The authorities are continuing to investigate the case to ensure the safety and well-being of the child involved.
