Following a 4-3 defeat against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 4, Vegas Golden Knights coach John Tortorella maintained a calm demeanor.
The Western Conference Second Round series between the Golden Knights and the Ducks has been fiercely contested, culminating in a thrilling Game 4. The teams are now tied 2-2, with Game 5 set to take place in Vegas on Tuesday.
During the post-game press conference, Tortorella was asked about his confidence in the team’s potential to improve and advance further. He confidently responded:
“I have zero worry about this team as far as how we’re going to go about the next few games wherever it goes. I have total trust,” Torts said.
When questioned about the progress of the Golden Knights’ third line, Tortorella commented:
“Yes, I think it gave us some good minutes. I lost him a little with the penalties and the power play. Chandler Stephenson hits the crossbar, has a chance. The big guy there is Tommy. He’s seen all the power play time. He’s a good faceoff guy. He’s the one that I think needs to kick in here and hopefully him scoring a goal there is going to help him and we’ll see.”
