Drew McIntyre received a warning on WWE SmackDown following his controversial actions on the latest episode of the show. The current Undisputed WWE Champion once again made a bold statement that caught the attention of fans and fellow wrestlers alike.

McIntyre’s journey to the Undisputed WWE Championship began in early January 2026 when he emerged victorious in a Three Stages of Hell Match against Cody Rhodes. However, his victory was marred by interference from the returning Jacob Fatu, who played a crucial role in helping McIntyre secure the title.

The tension between McIntyre, Rhodes, and Fatu reached a boiling point during the opening segment of this week’s SmackDown. While Rhodes and Fatu were engaged in a confrontation in the ring, McIntyre made his presence felt from his personal suite, which he had reserved for himself. Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis warned McIntyre not to continue testing his authority.

“Keep testing me, and I’ll show you what I can really do,” Aldis cautioned McIntyre, setting the stage for a potential showdown between the two in the future.

In the closing moments of the show, McIntyre returned to the ring and delivered a brutal attack on Randy Orton, using his title as a weapon. This allowed Aleister Black to capitalize and secure a significant victory over The Viper in the main event of SmackDown.

However, McIntyre’s focus wasn’t solely on his in-ring rivals. The champion expressed his displeasure with CM Punk and Roman Reigns after they mentioned his name during a heated exchange on RAW. Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, McIntyre revealed that it was the comments about the title and SmackDown that bothered him the most, prompting him to address the issue with a passionate speech.

McIntyre is now gearing up to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against the winner of the Elimination Chamber 2026 match, further solidifying his reign as the top star in the WWE. As tensions continue to rise and rivalries intensify, McIntyre remains a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional wrestling.
