The PMGC 2025 Group Stage matches for Group Green have just wrapped up, with India’s Team Orangutan finishing in 14th place after a series of lackluster performances over the three matchdays. Led by Aaru, Team Orangutan managed to accumulate a total of 91 points, including 56 eliminations and 35 placement points. Their standout moment came on the second day when they secured a chicken dinner in the Miramar match.
Despite a slow start with 26 and 20 points on the first two days, Team Orangutan showed improvement on Day 3, racking up 45 points. However, their inconsistency ultimately cost them a shot at directly qualifying for the Grand Finals or the Last Chance Qualifiers.
Throughout the tournament, Team Orangutan struggled to assert themselves in combat situations, often coming up short in 4v4 fights. While AKOP stood out as a star player during the Gauntlet stage, he was unable to replicate his performances in the Group Stage matches.
In terms of overall standings, Alpha Gaming, DPlus KIA, and Team GOAT emerged as the top three teams in Group Green, securing direct spots in the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, teams placed fourth to eleventh will have a chance to compete in the Last Chance Qualifiers for a shot at making it to the finals.
Looking ahead, all eyes are now on True Rippers as they gear up to kick off their PMGC 2025 Group Stage campaign on December 2 in Group Red. With 18 matches to play, the team will be aiming for a top-three finish to secure a direct spot in the Grand Finals. Indian fans are hopeful that Jelly, Hydro, KioLmao, and Harsh will deliver strong performances and represent the country in the finals.
As the tournament progresses, fans can follow the action and track their favorite teams’ progress. Stay tuned for more updates as the PMGC 2025 Group Stage continues to unfold.
