Justin donned a meticulously tailored suit by Dzojchen, styled by Masha Manduzka. Remarkably, the bespoke tuxedo was crafted for him, as well as for his father and two brothers, using only their measurements.
The wedding ceremony commenced at 6 p.m. on a quaint island in Tallulah’s family backyard. “It’s linked to the rest of the property by a small wooden bridge,” Tallulah notes. Accompanied by [Demi and Tallulah’s stylist] Brad Goreski, she gracefully made her way from her mother’s bedroom—where preparations took place—to the bridge. Upon crossing, she was perfectly fluffed and ready to walk down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband and their officiant, Jeremy. As she reached the moss-laden platform, her excitement was palpable. Fortunately, they had prepared a meditation to begin the ceremony, aiming to calm any nervousness.
Unexpectedly, Jeremy deviated from the script and revealed that someone special had prepared a surprise for Tallulah and Justin. “I froze as I glanced at the front row, seeing my mom beaming like the cat that got the canary,” Tallulah recalls. Her disbelief grew as a guitar riff resonated through the speakers, followed by Chris Martin’s soulful voice. The song began with “Tallulah and Justin, walking down the aisle…” Leaving her astonished, as she had been an ardent Coldplay fan since middle school. Coincidentally, she had chosen their song ‘A Message’ for her walk down the aisle just moments earlier. Her mom orchestrated this surprise, leading to a shared moment of joy and laughter with Justin that she vowed never to forget.
The couple then exchanged personally written vows. “I’ve been told there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience,” Tallulah mentions, though her focus was entirely on Justin. With trembling hands, they exchanged rings, and after being declared husband and wife, Justin expertly lifted Tallulah off the platform, dipped her, kissed her, and together they celebrated with their friends and family.
Following their ceremonial exit, the newlyweds joyfully ran back across the bridge hand in hand. “We were overwhelmed with joy at this surreal and wonderful moment,” Tallulah recalls. They took a brief moment of solitude inside before the cocktail hour began. During this time, Scout and Tallulah’s mom signed the marriage license as witnesses, confirming their status as Mr. and Mrs.
Once cocktails wrapped up, guests gathered on the property’s riverside for dinner and speeches from Justin’s father, Tallulah’s mother, his two brothers, and her sisters, Rumer and Scout. The evening continued with the cake cutting, marking the start of the next phase of their celebration.
