The highly anticipated third season of “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” made a grand entrance at San Diego Comic-Con’s Ballroom 20 as the rockstar Lestat, played by Sam Reid, took center stage. Fans were treated to an exclusive sneak peek backstage, featuring Reid delivering an electrifying performance as the vampire Lestat.
During the panel, five new cast members were announced, including Jennifer Ehle as Gabriella, Ella Ballentine as Baby Jenks, Jeanine Serralles as Christine Claire, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marius, and Damien Atkins as Magnus. Assuring fans that Louis will still play a significant role despite the focus on Lestat, Anderson stated, “There’s way more Louis in our show than there is in the book.” Reid also discussed the challenge of portraying the rockstar Lestat while incorporating the character’s musical performances into the storyline.
