The iPhone has always been known for its premium hardware, with Apple consistently delivering high-end design that sets its phones apart. However, there are still some features that Apple has not yet introduced, despite being present on many Android phones.

One such feature is fast charging. While Apple has improved battery life over the years, the charging speed has remained limited to just 25W on the iPhone 16 series. In comparison, other Android phones like the OnePlus 12 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra offer much faster charging speeds of up to 100W and 90W respectively.

Another missing feature is an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Apple replaced the physical fingerprint sensor with Face ID on the iPhone X, but has not introduced an under-display fingerprint scanner like many Android phones have. These scanners, especially the ultrasonic versions on devices like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, are faster and more reliable.

Stylus support is also lacking on the iPhone. While Apple introduced the Apple Pencil for the iPad, none of the Apple Pencils are compatible with the iPhone. A phone-friendly version of the Apple Pencil, especially for the top-of-the-line iPhone 16 Pro Max, could offer a convenient and innovative input method.

Additionally, high refresh rate screens are only available on the Pro models of iPhones. While the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max introduced 120Hz screens, all other iPhones have been stuck at 60Hz. This means a less smooth and responsive display, especially for tasks like scrolling and gaming.

Despite these missing features, the iPhone 16 series is still expected to be among the best phones on the market. While these features may be absent, there are plenty of other exciting features to look forward to on the iPhone 16.
