Stylist Hannah Harrison is setting the record straight about rumors she’s romantically involved with Mossimo Giannulli, just a day after he and his spouse Lori Loughlin announced their split.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Harrison has been identified as the woman seen with Giannulli, 62, earlier this week in Beverly Hills. However, the 32-year-old stylist clarified that their connection is purely platonic in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly.
“It was unfortunate timing. I went to the [G/FORE Supply] store without realizing his separation had just been made public,” she shared with Us in a statement on Friday, October 3, adding, “I was there to meet him.”
Harrison went on to explain that she was at the store for work when photographers captured moments of her with Loughlin’s ex. “He was just introducing me to people at the store so I could pull clothes for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE,” she elaborated.
“I was just shopping and as I was leaving, I noticed the photographers,” she shared, further clarifying, “We didn’t arrive together — we each drove separately.”
Harrison dismissed the notion of a romantic relationship with Giannulli, stating to Us, “We were not at the store together and we are not dating. We’re just good friends. He was only meeting me at the store.”
Another source confirmed to Us that Giannulli and Harrison are merely friends following his separation from Loughlin, 61, which was made public earlier in the week. “She’s just friends with him,” the insider said, reiterating Harrison’s role as a stylist who was working in Giannulli’s studio.
The Daily Mail initially published images of the fashion designer and stylist out together in Beverly Hills on October 2. Harrison sported a black sweater paired with a yellow miniskirt, while Giannulli opted for a white shirt and belted Levi’s jeans.
The two were photographed carrying shopping bags while waiting at the valet area of the popular retailer G/FORE Supply, before departing in a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
As noted in her Instagram profile, Harrison operates as an “LA-based stylist” and is the founder of TYS Beauty, a cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics brand. She has been involved in significant campaigns for the ESPY Awards, the Los Angeles Lakers, Ralph Lauren, and Gatorade. Previously, she had rumored ties with NBA star Devin Booker.
Us has reached out to Giannulli’s representative for comment.
On October 2, Loughlin’s representative confirmed to Us that the actress and designer had recently separated after almost 28 years of marriage.
“They are now living apart,” her spokesperson told Us. “There are no ongoing legal matters.”
Subsequently, pictures surfaced of Loughlin dining with actor James Tupper at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood on October 1 — just hours before the announcement of her split from Giannulli.
However, Loughlin’s representative quickly clarified to Us that the actress was merely catching up with an old friend and former co-star. (Loughlin and Tupper worked together in Great American Family’s A Christmas Blessing and Fall Into Winter.)
“Lori and James go way back and have collaborated together,” her rep confirmed to Us.
Loughlin and Giannulli wed in 1997 and are the parents of two daughters: influencers Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26. Both had prior marriages — Giannulli has a son, Gianni, 35, with his former spouse Chris, while Loughlin was married to investment banker and former Lionsgate vice chairman Michael R. Burns from 1989 to 1996.
The couple faced challenges stemming from the 2019 college admissions scandal and subsequent prison sentences before they ended their relationship. (Both pled guilty to conspiracy for falsifying college admissions documents. Loughlin served two months in prison, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence and was fined $250,000.)
Loughlin has largely maintained her silence about family matters since the scandal, though she briefly addressed their difficulties in a FIRST for Women interview in 2024.
“Every day brings new challenges. But I remember the old saying, ‘I get knocked down, but I get up again,’” Loughlin commented. “Life isn’t easy, and we all make missteps, but the key is to keep going.”
Loughlin expressed that her most important priorities include “my family and my children,” and she responded positively when asked how she views herself now.
“I see myself as kind and strong,” she stated. “I’m open to life’s opportunities and experiences, and I’m grateful. So I would say I’m strong, grateful, open, and kind.”
