Vice President JD Vance had a strong message for those making derogatory comments about his wife, Usha Vance, including racist troll Nick Fuentes and MSNBC host Jen Psaki: āEat sāt.ā
āLet me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat sāt,ā Vance told UnHerd in an interview published Sunday.
āThatās my official policy as vice president of the United States.ā
Fuentes, a far-right white supremacist and Holocaust denier, targeted Vance for being married to Usha Vance, the daughter of Indian immigrants, using racist language against her.
Psaki, a former press secretary for President Joe Biden, also made derogatory comments about Usha, implying that she needed to be rescued from Vance.
Vance condemned antisemitism and racism, emphasizing that such hatred has no place in the conservative movement.
Following his remarks, Vance criticized fellow conservatives for publicly attacking others within the party, urging unity and respect among conservatives.
āPresident Trump did not build the greatest coalition in politics by running his supporters through endless, self-defeated purity tests,ā Vance said.
Vance’s comments come in the midst of a growing divide within the conservative movement, with tensions rising between different factions.
