Among viewers aged 18-49, Kimmel secured a rating of 0.87—his best since 2015. Enhancing this comeback, his monologue drew over 26 million views across platforms like YouTube and social media.

This impressive ratings revival follows a tumultuous week when ABC suspended Kimmel amidst escalating scrutiny from the FCC regarding his provocative political commentary, particularly remarks involving Charlie Kirk.

During his Tuesday show, Kimmel didn’t shy away from taking a shot at President Donald Trump, suggesting that the President’s reaction to his comedy was akin to a child who “can’t take a joke.”
