In the latest episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart addressed the series of events that unfolded over the weekend, ranging from Donald Trump’s response to the situation in Venezuela to proposed military actions in Cuba, Greenland, and Iran, as well as the tragic shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minnesota.

Stewart began the show by reflecting on the chaos and turmoil gripping the nation, expressing disbelief at the events that have transpired. He humorously remarked, “What the fuck is happening? What the fuck is happening in this country? From Minnesota, to Venezuela, to Iran, to Greenland, Cuba, Mexico.”

The comedian went on to criticize Trump for being the “catalyst of all this chaos and confusion,” accusing him of shirking his responsibilities while the world faces uncertainty. Stewart likened the current state of affairs in America to being on a “Donald Trump gravitron,” where everything feels disorienting and nauseating.

Highlighting Trump’s priorities, Stewart pointed out a meeting where the president gathered oil executives to discuss Venezuela’s oil reserves, despite the escalating violence in the country. He questioned Trump’s lack of concern for the safety of American citizens in Venezuela, who are at risk of being targeted by armed gangs.

In a humorous jab at Trump’s demeanor during the meeting, Stewart played a clip showing the president admiring the construction of a new ballroom instead of focusing on the pressing issues at hand. Mocking the reactions of other officials in the room, Stewart quipped, “Look at Rubio and Vance. Look at the faces on Heckle and Jeckle over here.”
