Renowned country music icon Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of her upcoming concerts in Las Vegas, citing health-related concerns.
In a heartfelt statement shared on Sunday, Parton expressed, “I want my fans and the public to hear directly from me that I must defer my upcoming Las Vegas shows. I’ve been facing some health challenges, and my doctors have advised me to undergo a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up—though this isn’t quite the usual visit to my plastic surgeon!”
She added, “In all seriousness, given these circumstances, I will not be able to rehearse adequately and put forth the show you rightfully expect to see. You invest good money to experience my performance, and I want to deliver my best for you. Although I can keep busy with my projects here in Nashville, I require a bit of time to get back in show shape, as they say.”
“And don’t worry about me leaving the stage—God hasn’t indicated it’s time to stop yet. However, I believe He is advising me to take a step back right now so I can gear up for even more exciting adventures with all of you. I love you and sincerely appreciate your understanding,” she concluded.

Earlier this year, Dolly Parton faced profound personal loss with the passing of her husband, Carl Dean, who had been her companion for nearly 62 years. He was 82 years old.
In March, Parton shared, “Carl and I enjoyed countless wonderful years together. Words cannot fully capture the love we shared over those six decades. Thank you for your prayers and support during this time.”
