A WWE star was left astonished when Triple H revealed a major surprise. Since assuming the role of Chief Content Officer, Triple H, also known as The Game, has implemented significant changes in WWE programming.
In addition to revamping premium live events and reshuffling star schedules, Triple H made a groundbreaking decision in 2024. That year, WWE introduced the Women’s Intercontinental and United States championships, marking the first time midcard titles were part of the main roster for women.
Thanks for the submission!
This initiative followed the advocacy of various past and present figures for midcard titles. On March 13, in an interview with Fox News Digital, Bayley expressed the significance of these new titles.
Bayley recalled that Triple H had informed her about the new titles before their official announcement, around the time when the men’s Intercontinental championship was revealed. She described this forewarning as a moment that left her in awe.
“I remember when they revealed the new (men’s) Intercontinental title. I forget what it was, but I remember looking at Hunter and I’m like, ‘Dang, we need one of those.’ And he was like, ‘Just wait.’ And I was blown away. And then we got the IC title, and we got the United States title like months after that,” she said.
Bayley Says Triple H Fully Supports the Women’s Division
In her conversation with Fox News Digital, Bayley emphasized that the addition of the Intercontinental and United States championships for women opens up more opportunities for everyone.
She also noted that this move demonstrates Triple H’s complete confidence in the women’s division, highlighting its unprecedented strength. Bayley pointed out that previously, with only the top Women’s Championship and the tag team title, there were limited slots for the many talented stars on the roster. The Role Model, currently eyeing the IC title on RAW, also aims to compete for the United States championship.
