Just a few days after photos surfaced featuring Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau getting cozy, the pop sensation encountered a rather unique situation when a fan proposed to her during a London concert.
The star of “California Gurls” took her Lifetimes Tour to The O2 arena on October 13, where she invited fan Darren onstage, leading to an unexpected proposal.
“I heard you’re single,” Darren jokingly mentioned, according to a clip shared on TikTok. Katy slyly replied, “You heard I’m single? That’s interesting.”
Darren then surprised everyone by getting down on one knee, unveiling a sign that read, “Katy Perry, will you marry me?”

The crowd erupted with laughter as a flustered Perry exclaimed, “Are you kidding me? Not today!”
“Honestly, you should have popped the question about 48 hours ago,” she joked, delicately turning him down.
Perry humorously inquired what Darren sought in a partner. As he described wanting a “good lover,” she made a lighthearted escape towards another set of fans she had invited up, quipping, “Let’s get away from that man!”

This unexpected exchange came just two days after Daily Mail unveiled imagery of Perry and Trudeau, 53, sharing affectionate moments aboard her Caravelle yacht off Santa Barbara, California.
In the midst of their rendezvous, Perry and Trudeau were seen getting cozy, with the tabloid Daily Mail suggesting the photos were taken during a romantic outing on October 11, although the specific timeline remains unclear.
Their romance rumors began in July, following a series of public outings that included a brief walk in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park and a dinner at Le Violon.
Just two days after a dinner outing with Perry, Trudeau was seen at Perry’s concert in Montreal as part of her Lifetimes Tour.
Reports previously indicated that Us Weekly broke the news of Perry’s split from long-time fiancĂ© Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove, 5. Trudeau, on the other hand, recently separated from his wife Sophie GrĂ©goire Trudeau in 2023.
