Following the trade for Richards, the Suns also bid farewell to Josh Okogie, who was traded to the Hornets along with three second-round picks. Although Okogie played limited minutes this season, his hard work and tenacity earned him respect from both fans and teammates, including Durant. Durant acknowledged Okogie’s dedication to the game and his teammates, wishing him well in Charlotte.
With the addition of Richards, the Suns are now contemplating whether this move will be their only trade before the deadline.
