Kyle Cooke stirred up controversy on the recent episode of Summer House by directing harsh words at his wife, Amanda Batula, which surprised everyone in the house.
The Tuesday, March 24 episode of the Bravo series began with Kyle, 43, and Amanda, 34, in good spirits after a night out with their housemates. However, when Amanda stepped outside by the pool, leaving Kyle with his DJ equipment, things took a negative turn.
“F*** you,” Kyle said to Amanda, criticizing her for allegedly not being “supportive” of him as their friends Ciara Miller, Ben Waddell, and West Wilson observed.
Amanda swiftly advised the group to dismiss the incident and head to bed.
“What is the point of talking about this? It’s only going to make things worse,” Amanda expressed to the cameras. “I know that it’s wrong the way that he speaks to me. … I just know having a conversation about it isn’t going to go anywhere.”
While Amanda preferred to ignore the situation, West decided to comfort her and agreed to let it go if that’s what she desired.
“Objectively, nothing just happened. That’s bizarre to me,” West, 31, remarked. “That’s the first time where I’ve ever seen something where 100 percent [it] was unprovoked.”
Amanda later stated that this was “a calm version of Kyle,” something she had been dealing with for a decade. (Kyle and Amanda started dating in 2015 and got married in September 2021. They announced their separation in January.)
“There was a part of me that was like, ‘This is the best I’m ever going to do. And he loves me so much,’” Amanda confided to West, tears in her eyes. “[I was] constantly making excuses.”
As Amanda prepared for bed, West approached Kyle to encourage him to apologize for his seemingly unprovoked outburst.
Kyle, visibly intoxicated, claimed to West that Amanda “gave me f*** you eyes,” but West quickly refuted this.

“I’m sorry for saying f*** you, I just feel like you don’t pay attention to me,” Kyle eventually told Amanda, claiming she doesn’t “make an effort” with him.
Kyle accused Amanda of spending all her time with their friends, leaving him feeling ignored both at bars and at home.
When Amanda responded, saying she hangs out with their friends because he’s with random people, Kyle became even more upset.
“You’re a f***ing dumbass bitch,” Kyle called Amanda as she left the room. Amanda gave a thumbs up to West and Ben in the kitchen, saying, “Oh yeah, I’m a dumbass bitch, Kyle.”
West was shocked by Kyle’s behavior and attempted once more to understand what was troubling him.
Kyle claimed that Amanda ignored him “all night long with our friends,” saying, “It’s always a ‘F*** you, Kyle.’”
“But it’s not! This is your head,” West insisted. Kyle, however, continued to believe Amanda “hates” him and went to bed without truly apologizing.
In a confessional interview, Kyle admitted he was wrong to lash out at Amanda.

“There’s no excuse to drop the F-bomb and say F-you to your wife,” Kyle told the cameras. “But I can only go so long getting the cold shoulder. Getting the small but steady jabs.”
He claimed that Amanda’s remarks about his lifestyle and DJ career had been building up, and it didn’t help that she seemed to be “having a blast with everyone but me” amid their marital issues.
Amanda, for her part, told Lindsay Hubbard the next morning that Kyle is dealing with his own issues, but it is “no excuse” to call her names.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kyle admitted, “I’m like the worst version of myself this summer. I’m just not able to articulate anything.”
The Loverboy founder noted that it felt “very isolating” that no one was seeing his side. “It makes me feel like I should just give up,” Kyle added.
The dramatic episode involving Kyle and Amanda was filmed in late July 2025, six months before the couple officially separated.
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
