Desired Qualities in the Next Pope

While not a fan of the Catholic Church’s history, the late Pope Francis stood out for his intellect and compassion. His words in the 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si, about the urgent need for environmental action resonated with many. As the search for a new pope begins, it is hoped that the College of Cardinals will choose someone with a similar blend of qualities.
