Netflix’s “Love, Death and Robots” Season 4 is set to make its highly anticipated return on May 15th, featuring ten new short animated stories presented in a variety of styles. The official synopsis teases a thrilling lineup of tales, including dinosaur gladiators, messianic cats, and string-puppet rock stars, all brought to life through the series’ signature blend of animation, horror, sci-fi, and humor. The season is curated by Tim Miller and David Fincher, with Jennifer Yuh Nelson returning as supervising director.

Since its debut in 2019, “Love, Death and Robots” has been a critical darling, racking up an impressive 13 Emmy Awards across 15 nominations. The show has consistently been recognized for its outstanding animated storytelling, with Season 3’s “Jibaro” earning Alberto Mielgo a prestigious Emmy Award for best individual achievement in animation. The series has also attracted top-tier voice talent, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel McHale, and John DiMaggio.

Speaking at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Tim Miller expressed his vision for the show, highlighting the lack of adult-oriented animation in the Western market and his desire to bring high-quality CG animation to mature audiences. The upcoming season promises to push boundaries and deliver a fresh dose of inventive storytelling to fans of the genre.
