Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana recently faced a setback as his £350,000 Lamborghini Urus was impounded by the police. The incident occurred when Onana’s friend was driving the car without insurance and was flagged by an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system in Hale Barns. The car was subsequently stopped and taken away by the authorities.
According to reports, Onana has a 14-day window to secure insurance for his vehicle and retrieve it. Failure to do so could result in the car being auctioned off or even crushed. This incident took place before Manchester United’s Europa League semifinal against Athletic Bilbao, where Onana played a crucial role in their 4-1 victory at Old Trafford.
