A married police officer who recorded himself having sex with another officer at a middle school disregarded the resulting scandal in an interview, where he ironically criticized other officers for having “tainted the badge.”
Metropolitan Nashville Police Sgt. Stephen Holland was caught in an affair with school resource officer Lisa Vidrios last year when her husband, also a police officer, found explicit videos on her phone.
In a nearly three-hour podcast interview conducted months into the investigation but prior to the affair’s public revelation, Holland overlooked his own scandal while condemning other officers as “pieces of sh–t” who disgrace the profession.
“There’s some guys that have tainted the badge,” Holland told former Navy SEAL Andy Stumpf on his Cleared Hot podcast in August 2025, as shown in recently surfaced clips.
“Some officers don’t engage in police work for the right reasons; their hearts aren’t in it. But mine is. That’s why I’m here. I’m just going to do the best I can,” he continued.
During the podcast, Holland also shared that he and his wife had recently reconnected with their Christian faith.
“I believe the devil was trying to prevent me from rekindling that relationship [with God],” said the SWAT veteran, who claims to suffer from PTSD and anxiety.
“I’m encouraging my wife to reconnect with her [relationship with God], and she’s starting to engage. We’ve started taking our kids to church,” he stated.
The disgraced officer is married to Tiffany Holland, 43, a respected business development officer known in the local community, the Daily Mail reported.
Vidrios, 37, resigned after admitting to having sex with Holland at least four times inside Madison Middle School while serving as a school resource officer in May 2025.

Her husband provided evidence found on Vidrios’ phone showing her and Holland engaging in sexual acts on a couch in her office at the middle school—while “kids were inside the building” and “staff [could] be heard talking outside the door,” according to public records.
Another video revealed the pair performing oral sex on each other in a Metro Police vehicle. Vidrios later admitted they were intimate on at least two occasions while on duty, according to investigators.Â
Text messages retrieved by the OPA show the duo discussing cameras in a school parking garage, where at least one of their encounters took place on April 16, 2025, as per disciplinary records.
The affair was initially reported to authorities by Vidrios’ husband, who is also part of the MNPD.
Vidrios and Holland were immediately relieved of their duties and denied all police access on May 26, 2025, upon the department’s awareness of the allegations, according to the MNPD.Â
During the investigation into the affair, Holland was granted an injured-on-duty pension in February 2026, which prevented investigators from interviewing him.
