Max Ehrich Appears to Huff Nitrous Near His Crying Mom Pre-Arrest, on Video

Demi Lovato‘s former fiancé Max Ehrich may be facing more trouble … as it seems he was live streaming on Instagram right before being taken into custody for allegedly assaulting his mother while under the influence of nitrous oxide.

TMZ reported earlier … Ehrich was detained on Tuesday for battery against an elderly individual … with the police report stating that his mother was the alleged victim, and the conflict reportedly began over a dispute regarding her phone.

The report indicates that shortly before his apprehension, Max was live streaming on Instagram … and one viewer reportedly captured the chaotic scene.

In the footage, Max is seen demanding his mother’s phone while she weeps in the bathroom, and he purportedly shoves her. Later in the stream, he appears to inhale what seems to be nitrous oxide as he converses with law enforcement.

The “Young and the Restless” star was taken into custody at the Florida residence he shares with his mother. Max managed to post a $1,000 bond and was released the next day.

Ehrich had a very brief engagement to Demi Lovato in 2020 … proposing after just four months of dating in July 2020, but the couple ended their relationship permanently by the end of September that same year.
