A Disturbing Incident Unfolds Before Tragic Ohio Dentist Couple Murder
Just days before the untimely demise of Ohio dentist Spencer Tepe and his wife Monique, a chilling incident occurred in their neighborhood that left residents on edge. A concerned neighbor made a frantic 911 call in the early hours of December 19, reporting a stranger banging on her door in Columbus.
The distressed woman relayed to dispatchers that someone was aggressively trying to gain entry into her home, causing her immense fear. Despite the alarming nature of the situation, the unknown individual eventually left the premises by 2:44 a.m., leaving the neighbor shaken but unharmed. The police were not dispatched to investigate the incident further, which occurred just a short distance from where the Tepe couple resided.
Tragically, on the morning of December 30, the bodies of Spencer and Monique Tepe were discovered in their residence in the Weinland Park neighborhood of Columbus. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds, and there were no indications of forced entry or theft. Remarkably, their children and pet dog were unharmed during the incident, which authorities believe occurred between 2 and 3 a.m.

As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement has released surveillance footage of a “person of interest” captured in the vicinity of the Tepe’s residence in the early hours of December 30. The search for the perpetrator continues as the community mourns the loss of the beloved dentist couple.
