Celeste Rivas returned to her family home in Lake Elsinore, CA, exactly one year prior to the grim discovery of her body in D4vd‘s Tesla. A newly surfaced video captures her in an altercation with her parents’ neighbors.
The footage, uncovered by TMZ, originates from a Nest camera dated September 8, 2024—months after Celeste was reported missing. Witnesses assert it depicts her lashing out at a family over what she believed was a prank.
In the clip, while a family enjoys music outside their residence, Celeste’s raised voice accuses one of the neighborhood children of “ding-dong-ditching” her parents.
Although it’s nighttime and visibility is poor, neighbors identified Celeste from the numerous missing posters circulated in April 2024.
Celeste’s high-pitched outburst pierces through the evening air as she confronts the family, unleashing a flurry of expletives, along with what appears to be a racial slur.
Among the sounds of the altercation, a male voice retorts that he doesn’t belong to the demographic Celeste targeted with the slur.
Following this heated interaction, the boyfriend of one neighbor attempted to reach out to Celeste’s family to apologize, soon after which her father reportedly seemed unfazed by the event.
One neighbor recounted that when Celeste was reported missing in April, her family had actively plastered the area with posters. Upon spotting Celeste alive, the neighboring family assumed that the search was over and all was well.

The date of the video—September 8—is indeed significant, marking the day after Celeste’s 14th birthday and exactly one year before authorities discovered her remains in the trunk of D4vd’s confiscated Tesla.
As previously reported, Rivas’ death certificate was made public this Monday, debunking rumors of a potential pregnancy. Nevertheless, the cause of death remains deferred, a situation LAPD Captain Scot Williams has described as critical for the ongoing investigation.
