Jane Bright, a beloved contestant from “Survivor: Nicaragua,” has passed away.
The news of her death was shared by her daughter, Ashley Hammett, on social media.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed.
Jane, originally from North Carolina, rose to fame on “Survivor: Nicaragua” in 2010 while taking a break from her profession as a dog trainer.
She won $100,000 as the fan favorite on ‘Survivor’ and finished 6th out of 20 contestants, starting off on the Espada tribe.
Jane’s fellow ‘Survivor’ stars, including Sandra Diaz-Twine and Todd Herzog, are mourning her loss. Sandra wrote “rest in heavenly peace,” while Todd expressed, “Love you Jane! Always in our hearts!”
Jane Bright was 71 years old.
