North Carolina Boat Shooter Seen Scoping Out Bar Night Before Attack on Video

The individual suspected of fatally shooting three people and injuring five others in a North Carolina bar has reportedly been seen in surveillance footage from the night before the incident, indicating premeditation.

Witnesses inform us that the alleged perpetrator, Nigel Edge, was seen loitering approximately 20 yards from the American Fish Company in Southport along the Cape Fear River.

In the footage, Edge appears at the helm of a white center console motorboat labeled “Game On,” navigating stealthily in darkness aside from the lights on his boat’s bow. He seems startled and promptly retreats.

Southport Police Chief Todd Coring affirmed on Sunday that the attack had been deliberately planned, with prosecutors confirming that Edge had been observed maneuvering near the bar with his boat lights switched off the night before the shooting.

As reported, Edge returned to the establishment that Saturday night to launch a violent attack on unsuspecting patrons. He was eventually apprehended while attempting to recover his boat from the water.

The authorities revealed that during his rampage, Edge wielded a Sig Sauer rifle chambered in .300 Blackout, equipped with a suppressor and scope. He was also found with a .380 caliber handgun at the time of his arrest.

Edge is currently being held without bond as he has been deemed a flight risk and a potential threat to community safety, with a court appearance scheduled for October 13 to determine probable cause.

The gunman is described as a former Marine who notably made headlines earlier after a law suit against country singer Kellie Pickler, claiming she attempted to poison him during a public event.

Edge has additionally filed lawsuits against a healthcare facility for alleged medical malpractice and malpractice-related incidents.

His history includes near-fatal injuries sustained during military service in Iraq in 2006, after which he has reported dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Dane Britt, a musician who performed at the venue the night before, recorded the pivotal footage now under scrutiny.
