Nothing has officially launched its 2026 mid-range Phone (4a) series, featuring the standard (4a) and Pro models with significant design overhauls and upgraded specifications. The Phone (4a) starts at ÂŁ349 and is set to launch on March 13th, while the Pro model begins at ÂŁ499 with an unconfirmed release date, both representing price increases over their predecessors.

Key improvements in the new Nothing Phone (4a) series include brighter 1.5K displays, new Snapdragon chipsets, upgraded 50Mp cameras, enhanced durability with Gorilla Glass 7i, and redesigned Glyph lighting systems. The phones have undergone a huge design overhaul, with the (4a) Pro featuring an all-metal design and a cleaner camera module reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro.

The displays on both phones have been upgraded to be brighter outdoors, with the (4a) sporting a 6.83-inch panel and the (4a) Pro featuring a 6.78-inch screen. Both phones now have a 1.5K resolution AMOLED display, with the Pro model boasting a 144Hz refresh rate for a faster experience, especially for gamers.

In terms of durability, both phones have been built with Gorilla Glass 7i and the (4a) Pro has IP65 dust and water resistance. Camera upgrades include a larger 50Mp main sensor on both models and faster autofocus on the Pro model. The phones also feature 3.5x optical zoom and ultra-zoom modes for capturing more detail in shots.

Performance-wise, the phones come with Android 16 out of the box and are powered by different Snapdragon chipsets – the 7 Gen 4 for the (4a) Pro and the 7s Gen 4 for the (4a). Battery life tweaks include a minor increase in battery capacity to 5080mAh, with both phones still supporting 50W wired charging.
