A disturbing case has come to light involving a female therapist from Long Island who has admitted to sharing horrifying videos and images of baby rape online. Renee Hoberman, a licensed social worker from Plainview, pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing child pornography on the social media app Kik. This included sharing videos of the rape of a baby less than 1 year old, an act that she found pleasure in while working as a therapist with children under 17 years old in Melville.

US Attorney Joseph Nocella Jr. expressed outrage at Hoberman’s actions, stating that the videos she shared depicted the most innocent members of society being violently abused. One particularly disturbing video showed a baby being held down and raped by an adult man.

In addition to distributing child pornography, Hoberman also engaged in perverse online chat rooms where she pretended to be the father of multiple children and claimed to have sexually abused them. Using various usernames, she described disturbing acts involving the children, including anal sex and physical punishment.

Hoberman even went as far as uploading videos of child sexual abuse, claiming that the victims were the man’s own children. She invited others to visit “his” family in New York to partake in the abuse.

Authorities began investigating Hoberman after receiving tips about the abuse on Kik. They discovered child sexual abuse content on her phone and she admitted to sharing child pornography on other messaging apps. Hoberman confessed to federal agents that she preferred children from infancy to age three and violent depictions of child pornography.

As a result of her actions, Hoberman faces up to 20 years in prison. This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance in protecting children from exploitation and abuse. The Importance of Mental Health Awareness

Mental health is a topic that has gained increasing attention in recent years, and for good reason. The World Health Organization estimates that around 450 million people worldwide suffer from a mental health disorder, making it a global health crisis that cannot be ignored.

One of the key reasons why mental health awareness is so important is because it can have a significant impact on an individual’s overall well-being. Mental health disorders can affect every aspect of a person’s life, from their relationships and work performance to their physical health. By raising awareness about mental health issues, we can help reduce the stigma surrounding them and encourage those who are struggling to seek help.

Another important reason to promote mental health awareness is to prevent the development of mental health disorders in the first place. Research has shown that early intervention and treatment can significantly improve outcomes for individuals with mental health issues. By raising awareness about the signs and symptoms of mental health disorders, we can help people recognize when they may need help and encourage them to seek support.

Additionally, promoting mental health awareness can help reduce the societal costs associated with untreated mental health disorders. Mental health issues can lead to increased absenteeism at work, decreased productivity, and higher healthcare costs. By educating the public about mental health and encouraging early intervention, we can help reduce these costs and improve overall societal well-being.

There are many ways to promote mental health awareness, from hosting events and campaigns to sharing resources and information online. It’s important for individuals, organizations, and communities to come together to support those who are struggling with mental health issues and to work towards creating a more mentally healthy society.

In conclusion, mental health awareness is crucial for promoting overall well-being, preventing the development of mental health disorders, and reducing societal costs. By raising awareness about mental health issues and encouraging early intervention, we can help support those who are struggling and create a more mentally healthy world for all.
