A horrifying case has come to light involving a female therapist from Long Island who has admitted to sharing disturbing videos and images of baby rape online. Renee Hoberman, a 36-year-old licensed social worker from Plainview, pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing child pornography on the social media app Kik. The content she shared included the rape of a baby less than 1 year old.

Hoberman, who was working as a therapist with children 17 and under in Melville at the time, confessed to getting a sick thrill out of the stomach-churning material she shared in 2024. US Attorney Joseph Nocella Jr. described the videos she distributed as “extremely vile and unthinkable,” depicting the horrific sexual abuse of innocent babies.

One particularly nauseating video shared by Hoberman showed a baby between 6 months and 1 year old being held down and raped by an adult man. In addition to distributing child pornography, she also engaged in perverted online chat rooms where she pretended to be the father of multiple children and claimed to have sexually abused them.

Using various usernames like “badgurl854” and “Daddywhospanks Naked,” Hoberman participated in conversations where she described having sex with the children and subjecting them to punishments like getting naked, stripping them naked, and spanking them while other children watched. She even went as far as inviting one individual to visit “his” family in New York to carry out further abuse.

Authorities became aware of Hoberman’s activities after receiving tips from Kik about the abuse. Upon investigating her phone, they discovered hidden folders containing child sexual abuse content. Hoberman admitted to federal agents that she has a preference for children from infancy to age three and violent depictions of child pornography.

As a result of her heinous crimes, Hoberman faces up to 20 years in prison. This case serves as a stark reminder of the disturbing lengths to which individuals like Hoberman will go to satisfy their perverse desires. It also highlights the importance of vigilance and reporting suspicious behavior to prevent further harm to innocent victims. The world of technology is constantly evolving, with new innovations and advancements being made every day. From artificial intelligence to virtual reality, there are endless possibilities when it comes to the future of technology. One of the most exciting developments in recent years is the rise of quantum computing.

Quantum computing is a type of computing that harnesses the power of quantum mechanics to perform calculations at speeds that are unimaginable with traditional computers. Unlike classical computers, which use bits to represent data as either a 0 or a 1, quantum computers use quantum bits, or qubits, which can exist in a state of 0, 1, or both simultaneously.

This ability to exist in multiple states at once allows quantum computers to perform multiple calculations simultaneously, leading to exponential increases in processing power. This means that tasks that would take traditional computers years to complete could be done in a matter of seconds with a quantum computer.

One of the most promising applications of quantum computing is in the field of cryptography. With the rise of quantum computers, traditional encryption methods could become vulnerable to attacks, as quantum computers would be able to break them much more quickly than classical computers. To combat this, researchers are working on developing quantum-resistant encryption methods that would be secure against quantum attacks.

Another area where quantum computing could have a significant impact is in the field of drug discovery. The complex calculations required to model the interactions between molecules and proteins could be done much more quickly and accurately with quantum computers, leading to faster and more effective drug development.

Despite the immense potential of quantum computing, there are still many challenges that need to be overcome before it becomes a practical and widespread technology. One of the biggest challenges is the issue of qubit stability, as quantum systems are very delicate and susceptible to errors from external factors such as noise and temperature fluctuations.

Researchers are actively working on developing error correction techniques and improving qubit coherence times to address these challenges. Additionally, building and scaling up quantum computers is a complex and expensive process, requiring advanced technology and infrastructure.

Despite these challenges, the future of quantum computing looks bright. As researchers continue to make advancements in the field, we can expect to see quantum computers become more powerful and accessible in the coming years. With their unprecedented processing power, quantum computers have the potential to revolutionize industries ranging from finance to healthcare, opening up new possibilities for innovation and discovery.
