The 2025 World Nature Photography Awards have once again brought to light the incredible beauty and diversity of our planet. From the mesmerizing Milky Way above a Montana lake to the vibrant flowers in the Brazilian savannah, photographers from around the world have captured stunning images that showcase the wonders of nature.

The competition, which received thousands of entries from 48 countries, aims to inspire people to see the world from a different perspective and encourage positive actions for the planet. The grand prize this year went to Maruša Puhek for a captivating image of two deer leaping through a vineyard.

Many of the winning photos shed light on the delicate balance between nature and the human-built environment. Images like Daniel Flormann’s “Lenuk Tasi,” featuring a baby sea turtle gliding beneath the surface of the sea, and Ael Kermarec’s “Reclaim,” showing a lava flow engulfing a road in Iceland, highlight the vulnerability of our planet’s inhabitants.

Other notable winning photographs include Marcio Esteves Cabral’s shot of rare Paepalanthus flowers illuminated by the sun in Brazil, and Mohammad Murad’s image of White-cheeked terns engaged in a fierce battle for territory in Kuwait.

If you are interested in viewing more award-winning photos or purchasing prints, you can visit the WNPA store. The stunning images capture the essence of nature in all its glory, from breathtaking landscapes to intimate animal portraits.

The World Nature Photography Awards continue to be a platform for photographers to showcase the beauty of our planet and inspire positive change for the environment. Through their lens, they remind us of the importance of preserving and protecting the natural world for future generations.
