The city of Athens is currently home to an extraordinary exhibition that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. Plásmata 3, presented by Onassis Stegi, is a multi-faceted experience that invites visitors to see the world through a different lens. Running until June 15, this one-of-a-kind event features works by both Greek and international artists spread across 31 locations in Pedion tou Areos Park.

The concept behind Plásmata 3 is to create a world where the everyday becomes magical. Artists from various disciplines have come together to transform the park into a playground of illusions and hidden treasures. As visitors explore the park at night, they are treated to a nocturnal landscape filled with surprises and enchantment.

The exhibition features a diverse range of artworks, including installations, sculptures, and performances. From spiritual emblems to mythical creatures, each piece is designed to challenge perceptions and spark the imagination. Visitors can expect to encounter ancient column-pillows, shattered marble monuments, and interactive exhibits that respond to human touch.

What sets Plásmata 3 apart is its seamless blend of analog and digital art forms. The exhibition showcases a natural progression of artistic techniques, from traditional shadow puppetry to cutting-edge projection mapping. Technology is used as a tool to enhance creativity, rather than overshadow it. Artists push boundaries and question algorithms, creating new narratives that captivate and inspire.

In addition to the art installations, Plásmata 3 also offers a rich program of events, including music performances, talks, film screenings, and culinary experiences. This immersive approach ensures that visitors are fully engaged with the exhibition, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

The exhibition is curated by Artistic Director Afroditi Panagiotakou, with support from Executive Director Dimitri Theodoropoulos and General Manager Prodromos Tsiavos. The exhibition design is masterfully executed by Loukas Bakas, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning experience for all visitors.

Don’t miss your chance to immerse yourself in the magical world of Plásmata 3. This groundbreaking exhibition is a celebration of creativity, imagination, and the power of art to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
