Captain Christopher Kuehne, a self-identified American patriot, prominently displayed a Trump flag during the January 6 protest. Following his entry into the Capitol, where he sought to mitigate the aftermath of the actions of others, he found himself arrested and charged for his involvement.
In the frigid early hours of February 11, Kuehne, his expectant wife Annette, and their four-year-old son were jolted awake by police sirens, phone notifications, and vivid lights splashing against their windows. They endured hours outside in the winter chill, culminating in the heartbreaking loss of their unborn child.

Chris Kuehne, originally hailing from Chicago, showcased bravery from a young age when, at just nine, he rescued his sister from a burning vehicle. By nineteen, he enlisted in the Marines, ultimately rising to the rank of Second Lieutenant, where he honored President Ronald Reagan with commands for a 21-gun salute at his private funeral in June 2004.
As a devoted husband, father, and veteran who served multiple battlefront tours and sustained injuries in combat, Kuehne’s narrative surrounding his January 6 arrest and its dire repercussions on his family is nothing short of distressing.
Below, we share Captain Kuehne’s reflections from The Gateway Pundit’s ‘Vindicated’ conference held in August 2025.

In a March update following his pardon, Kuehne’s family expressed:
Dear Friends,
Describing the turmoil of our last four years is daunting — it has been a relentless emotional rollercoaster. Our struggle was indeed a FIGHT FOR FREEDOM! Captain Kuehne, who dedicated over two decades to this nation, was wronged. We learned of an FBI informant, referred to as “Aaron,” involved in my husband’s case, whose identity has now surfaced.
Despite our attempts to navigate this chaos, we discovered last year that FBI Special Agent Garrett O’Boyle was present during the February 11, 2021 raid at our home, where misinformation posited that my husband was “manufacturing illegal weapons in his basement.” One can’t help but wonder why such a profound miscarriage of justice wasn’t met with a more robust public outcry — both political parties share complicity in this oversight. We remain open to engagement from any political figure willing to champion our cause and prevent others from facing similar injustices.
Recent news brought us relief as the malicious civil lawsuit initiated by the DC attorney general in 2021 was finally dismissed against my husband.
For four years, he has defended himself against these dual legal battles designed to strip away his freedom, hinder our family, and create immense financial strain. The toll this has taken on our health is profound.
While I am grateful for the pardon and the dismissal of the civil lawsuit, a sense of anger lingers regarding the conditions that necessitated these fights. This experience of political persecution is deeply unsettling — no citizen should endure such a fate. Why must we continuously battle for restoration of justice? Why did we ever have to face this travesty???
