During an interview with Sean Hannity in the Oval Office, Trump expressed his belief that the real threat lies in electronic devices manufactured in China, such as smartphones, rather than TikTok.

He downplayed the concerns of TikTok being used for espionage purposes, suggesting that the platform is mainly used for entertainment by younger audiences.
