For the past 250 years, the rule of law and the blessings of freedom have served as the foundation of our Republic and the source of our greatness. On Loyalty and Law Day, we renew our solemn commitment to defending our unalienable rights and safeguarding our freedoms.
Since our founding on July 4, 1776, the noble principles of equal justice, law and order, and the dignity of every human person have been faithfully upheld by generations of patriots. From the start of our national journey, responsible citizenship has involved obeying our laws, defending our flag, honoring our heritage, protecting our homeland, and preserving our constitutional way of life. These core truths—and our steadfast dedication to them—have made our nation a leading beacon of freedom and liberty worldwide. From the Revolutionaries who fought for our independence to the courageous Americans who resisted communist threats during the Cold War, our history is defined by citizens with unwavering devotion to God, loyalty to the Constitution, and a deep love of country.
My Administration proudly continues this enduring legacy by restoring our justice system, upholding law and order, and eliminating threats to our freedom. Since my return to office, we have ended the era of lawlessness and the misuse of our justice system, reclaiming our constitutional heritage. America’s borders are secure. Our cities are becoming safe, vibrant, and beautiful once again. And our precious liberties are being protected anew.
Under my leadership, we are experiencing a new Golden Age of America—one firmly rooted in respect for our laws, reverence for our Constitution, and unwavering commitment to the eternal truths that have guided our nation for two and a half centuries.
