After the event, Reynolds shared the results of his photo mission in another Instagram Story slide. The picture he captured was not perfect, with Lively in motion and part of a man blocking the frame. Reynolds jokingly captioned the photo with, “Nailed it.”
Lively looked stunning in a mint green gown with cutouts on the bust, while Reynolds sported a dapper grey pinstriped suit with a blue pocket square and brown shoes. The couple’s appearance at the premiere came after Lively was honored at the Time 100 Gala in NYC, where she gave a powerful speech discussing the challenges she has faced in the past two years.
During her speech, Lively alluded to her ongoing legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director, Justin Baldoni. She spoke about the importance of women having a voice in today’s society and praised her mother, Elaine, for her strength in overcoming a traumatic experience in the past.
