Seaview, a well-known production company based in New York, has recently announced the launch of its TV division, which will be overseen by former A24 executive, Jess Lubben. This news comes alongside the exciting development of a first-look deal with Fifth Season, the production company behind popular shows such as “Severance,” “His & Hers,” and “Killing Eve.”

Initially known for its focus on Broadway productions, Seaview has expanded its reach into the film industry and is now setting its sights on becoming a multi-platform entertainment powerhouse. With Lubben at the helm of the TV division, the company aims to collaborate with a diverse range of talent, including theater artists looking to transition into television, as well as established TV writers and creators.

Greg Nobile, the founder of Seaview, expressed his confidence in Lubben’s abilities, stating, “Jess is an extraordinary executive with exceptional taste and relationships across the television landscape.” The partnership with Fifth Season will ensure that Seaview’s television projects are given priority consideration by the esteemed production company.

Lubben brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having spent six years at A24 where she worked on hit shows like HBO’s “Euphoria” and Apple TV’s “Mr. Corman.” Her impressive resume also includes projects such as Apple TV’s “Sunny,” Amazon’s “Lifted,” and CBS’s “The Good Wife.” She is thrilled to join the team at Seaview and is looking forward to collaborating with the company’s existing theater and film partners to create compelling and impactful television content.

In addition to its TV division, Seaview has already made a mark in the film industry under the leadership of Brad Becker-Parton. Their film credits include the HBO feature “Reality,” Neon’s “Stress Positions,” and the recent Sundance title “Union Country.” On Broadway, Seaview has produced acclaimed shows like “Stereophonic,” “Good Night and Good Luck,” and “The Fear of 13.”
