Yash Raj Films, a renowned Bollywood studio, has entered into a groundbreaking partnership with Netflix to bring a plethora of classic Indian films to the streaming platform. This collaboration will make YRF’s extensive catalog accessible to Netflix subscribers worldwide, allowing fans to enjoy beloved Hindi movies from the comfort of their homes.

The release of YRF titles on Netflix will be strategically timed to coincide with festivals, special occasions, and cinematic milestones, ensuring that viewers have access to these iconic films at the perfect moment. The rollout will commence on November 1, in celebration of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, with nine of his most iconic YRF movies including “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” “Mohabbatein,” and “Chak De India.”

Following this initial release, additional classic titles such as “Chandni,” “Kabhi Kabhie,” and “Vijay” will become available starting November 14. The holiday season will see a daily release schedule of 34 films from December 12 to 28, including popular titles like “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Hum Tum,” and “Ta Ra Rum Pum.” Furthermore, three Salman Khan blockbusters will stream on December 27 in honor of the actor’s birthday.

The partnership between YRF and Netflix extends into 2026, with a Valentine’s week collection launching on February 7 featuring romantic titles like “Saathiya” and “Bachna Ae Haseeno.” Additionally, popular franchises such as the “Dhoom” trilogy and the “Mardaani” series will be available for streaming as part of the deal.

Monika Shergill, VP of India Content at Netflix, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it marks a milestone for Indian cinema on the platform. She highlighted Netflix’s commitment to showcasing the depth and diversity of Indian storytelling, from docu-series to timeless blockbusters. Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, also shared his enthusiasm for bringing the studio’s rich cinematic legacy to a global audience through Netflix.

With this collaboration, viewers can look forward to experiencing the magic of iconic Indian films and discovering the charm of YRF’s timeless classics on Netflix.
