Finn Wolfhard’s recent appearance on “Saturday Night Live” featured a surprise visit from two of his fellow “Stranger Things” co-stars. Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, who also starred on the hit Netflix series, joined Wolfhard during his monologue as he reflected on growing up in front of the camera and transitioning into adulthood.

During his monologue, Wolfhard humorously mentioned how his voice changed, his first kiss, and even his first encounter with female anatomy all happened on camera. The monologue took a comedic turn with a howling Demogorgon making an appearance.

In a funny twist, Wolfhard revealed that he doesn’t enjoy the taste of alcohol, leading to a messy moment where he accidentally spit out his first drink all over Marcello Hernández. The trio of actors then discussed the challenges of growing up in the spotlight, including the odd comments they would read about themselves on Reddit, before playfully suggesting they were ready to star in “adult films.”

The episode also featured a sketch imagining potential spinoff shows from “Stranger Things,” including “Mike in Manhattan,” a parody of “Sex and the City” starring Wolfhard, McLaughlin, and Matarazzo. The sketch poked fun at Will’s never-ending coming out scene and included other humorous spinoffs like “The Wheeler Report” news show and a storyline with Steve Harrington as a teacher in the inner city.

Additionally, the episode teased a rumored ninth episode of the series, sparking internet conspiracy theories among fans. The sketch provided a lighthearted and entertaining take on the beloved show and its characters.

Fans can watch Wolfhard’s monologue from the episode below, showcasing his comedic chops and chemistry with his fellow cast members. Overall, the “SNL” appearance was a fun and nostalgic reunion for the “Stranger Things” stars, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating more from the talented young actors.
