Stine Goya Unveils Fall Collection Inspired by Enneagram Personality Types
Stine Goya took an unconventional approach to designing her fall collection by incorporating elements from the Enneagram personality test. After taking the test with her team, Goya was fascinated by the results and decided to create a collection around three specific personality types. Each type was assigned different motifs: roses for the sentimental individualist, stripes for the layered achiever, and shells for the uniform perfectionist.
When asked about her own Enneagram type, Goya revealed, “I’m mostly the achiever and the perfectionist, [but] I think I’m actually in between all of them.”
Exploring Different Facets of Masculinity in Menswear
While many designers focused on traditional notions of masculinity in menswear, Stine Goya took a softer approach with her collection. Each piece was designed to represent various facets of one’s personality, resulting in a relaxed and versatile collection.
The standout pieces in the collection included a series of chunky hand-knits, a charming cardigan embellished with dimensional knit shells and pearls, and a color-blocked cardigan that cleverly appeared as two separate pieces. Knit collars featured on jackets added a whimsical touch, with a navy puffer jacket standing out for its unique upholstery-like tufting and green collar.
Elevated Tailoring with a Touch of Playfulness
Goya showcased her talent for tailoring with a black jacket inspired by traditional pearlies’ attire. A long single-breasted coat in black featured sleeves made from a fancy metallic material that could be folded back at the cuffs to reveal lining stripes, adding a surprising twist to the classic piece. This playful yet sophisticated detail struck a perfect balance between elegance and individuality.
