The case of a 15-year-old boy who was caught having sex with his stepmother by his father is heading to court, as a judge has ruled that the teen’s statements will be admissible as evidence. The boy, whose name has not been disclosed, admitted to being “lovestruck” and “infatuated” with his stepmother, Alexis Von Yates, a 35-year-old former nurse from Florida.

According to reports, Yates had been flirting with the teen for weeks before their sexual encounter, often expressing her sexual desires to him. In November, Yates was arrested and charged with seducing her stepson. The judge’s decision to allow the teen’s statements as evidence in the sexual battery trial was based on the determination of their reliability and trustworthiness.

The teen’s statements to investigators revealed that Yates had put her children to bed one evening and then spent time with her stepson on the living room couch. The boy, who was visiting his father and stepmother for summer vacation in Ocala, recalled that they had been playing video games and watching movies while his father was working late. Yates reportedly made advances towards the teen, expressing her sexual frustration and eventually leading to their sexual encounter.

When the boy’s father unexpectedly arrived home early and caught them in the act, he reacted in shock and anger. He immediately took his son to his grandfather’s house for the night, expressing his disappointment and anger towards him. The boy’s grandfather also admonished him, warning him not to speak about the incident to anyone.

Despite the family’s attempts to keep the incident under wraps, the boy confided in a cousin who then alerted authorities. The case has since garnered significant attention and will now proceed to trial with the teen’s statements playing a crucial role in the proceedings. The judge’s ruling emphasized the importance of the teen’s unrestrained honesty in his statements, which ultimately led to their admissibility in court.
