As central Texas continues to grapple with the devastating effects of flash flooding, celebrities are stepping up to raise awareness and support for those affected. From donations to heartfelt messages on social media, stars like Shakira, Jennifer Garner, Khloé Kardashian, Matthew McConaughey, and others are using their platforms to make a difference.

The flash floods that began on July 4 have caused widespread destruction in Texas Hill County, with the Guadalupe River rising by 26 feet in just 45 minutes. President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency in Kerr County on July 6, where at least 82 people, including 28 children at a Christian summer camp, have tragically lost their lives.

Among the victims at Camp Mystic was a 9-year-old girl from the family of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt. Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt, expressed her grief on Instagram, highlighting the devastating impact of the floods on families.

Shakira, who performed in San Antonio and donated a portion of her concert proceeds to Catholic Charities of San Antonio for disaster relief, urged her fans to join her in supporting the cause. Jennifer Garner sent out a simple yet heartfelt message on her Instagram Story, asking for prayers for those affected by the floods.

Matthew McConaughey shared a moving message on his Instagram Story, calling on people to lend a helping hand to the Texans in need. Khloé Kardashian expressed her deep sorrow for the families impacted by the tragedy, especially the loss of innocent children.

Other celebrities like Katherine Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miranda Lambert, Hilary Duff, and Jenna Bush Hager also used their platforms to raise awareness and support for those affected by the Texas floods. From sharing donation links to expressing their heartfelt condolences, these stars are standing in solidarity with the people of Texas during this difficult time.
