Wellness continues to be a hot topic as we look towards the future. With the industry currently valued at $2 trillion, according to McKinsey & Company, it’s clear that wellness is here to stay. But what can we expect to see in the world of wellness in 2026?

Looking ahead, it’s all about growth and expansion in the wellness space. Advancements in longevity, based on legitimate science rather than viral trends, will be a key focus. Traveling with the goal of improving both our physical and mental well-being will become more popular. And we can also anticipate more innovative and enjoyable ways of incorporating essential nutrients into our diets.

Here are six wellness trends that experts predict will make a big impact in 2026:

Private Members Club: Wellness Edition

Private clubs have become a popular destination for many, serving as a third space away from home and work. In 2026, these clubs are expected to expand even further into the realm of wellness. Jonathan Leary, CEO of Remedy Place, envisions private wellness members clubs becoming the go-to spot for milestone celebrations and personalized wellness programs focused on proactive self-care.

What sets these wellness members clubs apart is their ability to provide a tranquil escape from the digital noise that surrounds us. As Leary explains, they offer a remedy to the challenges of the modern world, where people are feeling increasingly disconnected and lonely. The rise of technology has only heightened the need for real, in-person experiences.

Alex Feldman, cofounder of wellness members club Saint, agrees that people are craving genuine connections and tangible experiences. Saint, a private sauna and ice bath studio opening in New York City, aims to offer personalized experiences that prioritize relaxation and inner stillness over socializing or traditional wellness practices.

The Fitness Travel Boom

In 2026, taking a vacation to focus on fitness and well-being will take on a whole new meaning. The trend of fitness travel is on the rise, with more travelers seeking out in-person wellness experiences during their trips. According to McKinsey & Company’s 2025 wellness report, there has been an increased demand for boutique fitness classes and other wellness activities while traveling.

The report reveals that 60% of consumers who traveled for health and wellness treatments in 2024 plan to continue doing so in future trips. Additionally, 30% of those who invested in wellness activities during their travels are willing to spend even more in the coming year.

Overall, the wellness industry is poised for continued growth and innovation in 2026. Whether it’s through private members clubs that prioritize personalized wellness experiences or fitness-focused travel opportunities, there are plenty of exciting developments on the horizon for those looking to prioritize their well-being.
