Stranger Things fans were left on the edge of their seats with the second-to-last chapter of the show’s second season. The episode kicks off with a possessed Will and a terrifying Demodog lab attack, setting the tone for a rollercoaster of emotions. The brutal death of Sean Astin’s character, Bob, witnessed by Winona Ryder’s Joyce, is truly gut-wrenching and showcases the horror that the characters are facing.

As our heroes come face to face with their nemesis and attempt to communicate with Will using Morse code, tension runs high. The episode reaches a chilling climax when a Demodog crashes through the window of the Byers’ house, only to reveal a bloody-nosed Eleven as its killer. The shock and fear that this moment evokes is palpable and leaves viewers eagerly anticipating the season finale.

In the first season, episode seven titled “The Bathtub,” we see the kids on the run with Eleven as they try to uncover the mysteries of the Upside Down. Through the use of a makeshift sensory deprivation tank, Eleven is able to discover the fates of both Barb and Will, leading to a heart-stopping moment as she uses her powers to take down Dr. Brenner and his cronies in a spectacular display of strength.

And who could forget the very first episode of the series, “The Vanishing of Will Byers”? This episode sets the stage for the entire series as we are introduced to the small town of Hawkins and the mysterious disappearance of young Will Byers. The sense of unease and mystery that permeates this episode is captivating, drawing viewers into the world of Stranger Things from the very beginning.
