‘The Office’ Actor Craig Robinson Is ‘Officially Quitting Comedy’

Craig Robinson, best known for his role as Darryl Philbin on “The Office,” recently announced that he is leaving comedy behind to pursue something bigger. In a video post on Instagram, Robinson shared the news with his fans, expressing his gratitude for their support throughout his comedy career.

In the caption of the post, Robinson wrote, “Life update: I’m officially quitting comedy to focus on my true calling. Stay tuned. I’m working on something huge.” This decision came as a surprise to many, as Robinson has been a staple in the comedy world for years.

In a follow-up post, Robinson hinted at his next venture by seeking advice on starting a small business. He expressed the challenges of transitioning from having a dream to actually building a business, but remained optimistic about the future. Fans were left intrigued and eager to see what Robinson has in store for his next chapter.

Throughout his career, Robinson has appeared in a variety of television shows and films, showcasing his comedic talents. From “The Cleveland Show” to “Mr. Robot” to “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” Robinson has entertained audiences with his unique sense of humor. On the film side, he has been featured in movies like “Hot Tub Time Machine,” “Sausage Party,” and “Dolemite Is My Name.”

Despite his decision to step away from comedy, Robinson still has a couple of projects in the pipeline.
