These figures are based on Nielsen’s live + same day metrics, as well as big data and panel insights.

When comparing the premiere week to the previous year, “The View” exhibited a 2% increase in total viewers (up from 2.278 million in 2024), with a notable 12% rise among women 25-54 (from 174,000) and also a 12% gain among women aged 18-49 (from 135,000).

Looking ahead to the week of September 15, 2025, “The View” averaged 2.311 million viewers, surpassing its competitors such as “Today Third Hour” (1.823 million), “Today with Hoda & Jenna” (1.303 million), and “NBC News Daily” (1.237 million).

Within the demographic of women aged 25-54, “The View” reported an average of 196,000 viewers, reflecting a 1% increase from premiere week and maintaining the same growth over last year’s numbers. Meanwhile, the audience of women aged 18-49 saw an uptick to 137,000.

Over the first two weeks of the new season, ABC has highlighted that “The View” is up 2% in terms of viewers aged 25-54, now averaging 199,000 compared to the previous 195,000.

On the social media front, “The View” has broadened its reach with the daily podcast series “Behind the Table,” which has now entered its third season, alongside “The Weekend View” on ABC News Live. In a remarkable achievement, ABC News notes that “The View” has garnered over one billion video views across its social media platforms (including Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X) within the past year.
