Its popularity in China was evident with packed arenas and record-breaking online viewership, including a world record for the largest offline esports event during the King Pro League 2025.

Team Falcons emerged as dominant forces in the competitive scene, clinching multiple high-tier events including The International and earning over $3 million in tournament winnings.

1) Counter-Strike 2
Unsurprisingly, Counter-Strike 2 took the crown as the biggest competitive game of 2025, boasting an impressive $32.27 million in prize pools. The game saw multiple high-tier tournaments throughout the year, with Team Vitality’s legendary run standing out as one of the most dominant performances in recent CS history. Counter-Strike 2 also secured the title of Best Esports Game at The Game Awards 2025, solidifying its position at the top of the esports world.
