Mother of Trans Child Threatens Activist at Democratic Party Convention
A shocking incident unfolded at the Democratic Party convention in San Francisco when Madeline Mann, the mother of a trans child and an employee of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), was caught on camera threatening an activist who criticized the use of hormone-blocking drugs on her 13-year-old daughter.
The altercation, filmed by gender-critical activist Beth Bourne, started with Mann calling Bourne a “TERF,” a derogatory term used by some trans activists against opponents.
Despite accepting her daughter’s self-diagnosis as transgender, Mann was unable to answer when she knew she was “cis-gender.” The confrontation escalated as Mann threatened Bourne, saying, “I’m gonna hunt you down and f–king kill you,” before storming away.
Bourne followed Mann, admonishing her for the death threat. Neither Mann nor UCSF has responded to requests for comment.
